Sebu drops debut album Many Faces

Sebu — one half of L.A.-based indie-pop duo Capital Cities, best known for their multi-platinum Grammy-nominated feel-good anthem ”Safe And Sound” — has released his long-awaited genre-bending solo debut album Many Faces, a cohesive collection of curated singles, covers and collabs.

The 14-track bundle includes the massive mind-bending lead single "Ultraviolet Violent" — one of two collaborations with trip-hop hypnotist Bei Ru.

Italian dirty disco beat makers THCSRS make their mark on "Edge Of Nowhere", a guitar-driven anthem for skydiving rebels without a cause.

Sebu’s 1889 Steinway grand piano let out its final breath for a rendition of David Bowie's "Space Oddity", before it succumbed to the Altadena fire earlier this year.

The piano also appears on "The Worst That Could Happen to Us" — the darkest love song ever written — over Eraserfase's bangin' glitch-tech beat.

"Dear Friends" is a joyous jazz-funk dance track featuring Capital Cities trumpeter Spencer Ludwig.

Other contributors include Tama Tama, Galestian, Jonah Walsh, Justin Vibes and Stash The Groove Bug.

Filled with edgy sounds and tasty melodies, the album is already gaining support from tastemakers Nic Harcourt (KCSN), Pauly Kover (X1075), Miles Anzaldo (KROQ), Aaron Axelsen (LIVE105) and Jill Nelson (99X).

Listen to Many Faces in its entirety exclusively right here before it drops everywhere May 23.
